Freedom
I take the stairs of melodies to reach up to the sky full of stars,
awaiting me in the night sky,
you reach out and pull my hand,
to a meadow filled with shine...
...but that was an illusion.
So I spread out my wings and glide far and high into the dark blue sky,
searching for the warmness of your hand.
The cold air reached my heart,
but burning passion melted the freezing air.
I searched for you far and wide,
searched for the freedom,
the freedom I can only feel with you,
I held back my tears, I shouted out your name...
...but you were nowhere to be found...
A vortex sucked me in,
consumed me into deep darkness,
and I felt sudden warmness...
an embrace so warm,
tears flowed down my face,
as I turned around and saw... you.

Irony
Isn't it such an irony, when you're able to give support to other people, but not to yourself?
For what reasons do I smile?
Why... should I keep this up?
The world's shining with tears in my eyes,
And an empty, hollow heart.
Facing this world with a cold face... wouldn't that be a weight off my shoulders?
The freedom I dreamt of is merely a dream.
I am just a shadow, a ghost,
Trying to protect the ones I love,
But... always failing...
I will always fade away, no matter how hard I try ...
I wonder why it hurts so much?
If the darkness can go away... Them my existence will be gone...
Sannin Party 9!
SMANSA Nippon Kai (Sanninkai / 三人位) or the Japanese Club of SMA N 1 Surakarta held a Japanese Cultural Festival on Sunday, 8 February 2015. It was a really great success, I would say as a kouhai. We had to work reaally hard to achieve that. :3
The open gate of the event was at 8 am, but the comittee had to arrive at ISI (Institut Seni Indonesia Surakarta) at 3 am! Real hard work, right? We had to decorate the place, which we started the day before the event, which was a school day. We skipped school (of course with an official permission) to finalize the decoration, stands, tickets, stickers, etc. There was a lot to do, but it was really fun. I had to go home early though, 'cuz my parents won't allow me to work until night. (Oh well...)
D-day has arrived! Yeaah~
I got there early in the morning and recieved a briefing from the senpaitachi. I was as an LO, which was like a 'servant' for the guest stars (LOL). After cleaning up the place, we were all standing by, helping any divisions which needed help, and waited until open gate time. And finally, open gate. It was reeaally crowded. There were a lot of stands, selling many kinds of Japanese food like takoyaki, ramen, onigiri, sushi, etc, and also stands selling anime and manga merchandise. Sanninkai also opened a stand, selling manga, stickers and pins, and also the traditional fish catching game and taking plastic balls with chopsticks (I forgot the name of the game, hehe). I haven't seen such crowds before in any J-Fest in Solo. Well that's probably because I haven't been to many J-Fests, LOL. ._.
I stood by in the gate, waiting for my guest stars. I was the LO of X-Chibi Metal and SKA 48. Have you heard of them?I had to keep track of their manager, so they would come on time. They finally arrived, and I had to guide them to their basecamps. If they asked for anything, I had to grant their wishes. I had to stand by near their basecamp.
I took a little break and walked around, and I met some of my old friends there, and we had a small reunion. Then, back to the basecamp...
I waited until it was their turn to perform, and after what seemed like a loong time, it was finally their time to shine. I waited backstage, until their performance ended. It was SKA 48 who performed first, then after some dance competitions X-Chibi Metal performed. X-Chibi Metal had a bit of a problem though, but all went well 'cuz we rock!
Everything seemed perfect, until about 5 pm. Then suddenly, the sky began to turn grey, and rain poured down. Well, so much for the teru teru bozu...
Not long after that, we closed the festival, and cleaned up until late night. It was a great day, and an unforgettable experience :D
